New World Scheduler can create and manage congregation Territories and maps, including Territory Boundaries, Territory Information, Territory Addresses, Territory Assignments and Territory Maps
Territories can be viewed and edited from the NW Publisher app, or can be printed as Territory Cards (Maps).
NW Scheduler also fully supports Letter Writing and Phone Witnessing Maps.
To add, view or edit Territories, on the left menu click Territories
Territories List
New World Scheduler Territories displays all your congregation Territories in a Territory List.
The Territories List can be expanded or contracted by clicking the arrow tab. It can also be Categorized, Filtered and/or Searched.
- Congregation Gold: 1000 territories, Territory Management, Territory Assignments, Draw Territory Boundaries, Territory Addresses
- Congregation Silver (Premium): 500 territories, Territory Management, Territory Assignments
- Congregation Bronze (Standard): 100 territories, Territory Management, Territory Assignments
- Individual: 100 territories, Territory Management, Territory Assignments
Territories Filter
Territories can be filtered by the following criteria:
- Selected Type. Shows all territories of a particular Territory Type, e.g. In Person, Letter Writing or Phone Witnessing.
- Selected Area. Shows all territories in the selected Territory Area.
- Selected Person. Shows all territories currently assigned to the selected person.
- Selected Group. Shows all territories currently assigned to the selected Field Service Group.
- Territories Overdue. Shows all territories that are currently overdue.
- Not Worked Last 6 Months. Shows all territories that have not been completed in the last 6 months.
- Not Worked Last 12 Months. Shows all territories that have not been completed in the last 12 months.
- Campaign. Shows all territories that have been completed during any Campaign.
- No Campaign. Shows all territories that have not been completed during any Campaign.
Search
Territories can be searched for Territory Number, Area, Person or Field Service Group.
Order
Territories can be ordered by Territory Name (default), Assigned Date or Completed date.
Color Highlighting
A territory will be shaded light blue if it is currently Assigned.
A territory will be shaded light red if it is currently Assigned and Overdue.

Territory Categories
Territories can be categorized into Territory Categories, or left in No Category.
Territory Categories can be created according to your local needs, and can also be assigned a color. This color is used when displaying Territory Boundaries.
Add Territory Category
- Click Territories
- Click Edit Categories
- Click New
- Add a Code and Name
- Optionally, select a color

- Note: If you change a Territory Category color and there are already existing Territory Boundaries, you need to zoom in and out to refresh the Master Map view.
- Click Territories
- Click Edit Categories
Delete Territory Category
- Click Territories
- Click Edit Categories
- Select a Territory Category

- Note: This will also delete all territory addresses and assignments for this territory.

We currently provide mapping data from 3 different map providers:
- ThinkGeo
- OpenStreetMaps
- Bing Maps
You can change the map provider in Territory Settings.
The level of detail shown on the maps depends on the provider and the location. There is nothing we can do about this. We do not control map data.
Regardless of map provider or map detail, you can add Territory Address to all maps. Simply right-click any location to add an Address at that location. This will show a House, Apartment or Business icon at that location and be visible on the map.
Google Maps have by far the most detail, but is very, very expensive. We cannot add Google Maps at this time.
We are investigating adding more map providers in the future.
Territories can be assigned in the following 3 ways:
- To a Person for Congregation use
- To a Person for Personal use
- To a Field Service Group for Field Service Group use
Assigning a territory to a Field Service Group means it will show on the app in the Field Service Group Territories list.
Assigning a territory to a Person does not mean it is a Personal Territory. By default, all assigned territories will show on the app in the Congregation Territories list.
This is because the majority of preaching is not done with Personal Territories, but together as a group.
- For example, a brother conducting the Wednesday morning Meeting for Field Service would be assigned a territory. He will arrange and direct everyone who is witnessing on Wednesday morning to work this territory together. (See km 3/15 pp. 3-6 par 6 or od 65-67)
Personal Territories should be considered a “supplement” to Group Witnessing, and should not replace group witnessing. (see km 12/06 p. 8 par 5)
To assign a Personal Territory, first assign to a Person and then select Personal Territory. This means only that single person can work the territory and it will show on the app in the Personal Territories list only.

For example, Aruba, Curacao and Bonaire should select Caribbean.
Yes, publishers can see Assigned Territories on the NW Publisher app. Publishers cannot see a list of unassigned territories.
