I could go on and on about how all the features have helped our congregation
New World Scheduler is a fantastic program! This software has helped our congregation be more unified. Each publisher knows when they have an assignment, when arrangements for meetings and field service will take place, and reminds them to turn in their monthly reports… all thanks to the New World Publisher app that pairs perfectly with the Scheduler program. It was simple to set up … everyone agrees that it saves time
Excellent app. Only gets better when other congregations start using it.
A Schedule is all about communicating…
Using an ‘app’ like this one is the most effective way to communicate to everyone inside the congregation and also to other congregations (ie for Public Talks)…
Much simpler to create and less time consuming to deliver … than printed schedules being emailed, revised and reprinted …also eliminates multiple versions of schedules.
One great advantage is all schedulers are able work together to avoid overlap in assignments. Plus much better coordination with outgoing and visiting speakers.
All with assignments have input… “away times” for instance.
It was simple to set up … all in the congregation became familiar with the app quickly and everyone appreciated its effectiveness.
We have used this app for about 6 months and everyone agrees that it saves time for schedulers, we have yet to see someone unaware that they have had an assignment… other that those outside the congregation that have not started using the app … yet.

I have held various assignments over the years, and have used many different programs, but this is by far the simplest to use and the easiest to on-board other servants, upload new information and quickly make schedule changes, such as when we receive a GBU that needs to be put in place of a local needs or other part. NW Publisher app was an immediate hit with the publishers, pioneers and Service Group overseers. We are now able to have around 95% of our FS reports collected by the 4th of the month! Unheard of in our congregation.

There is no better way to both organize a congregation and remain within theocratic direction!
NW Scheduler has become the only way to operate a congregation. We’ve been using NWS for 4 years. One of the most important things to recognise is the adherence to organizational direction and structure. The data complies with our direction in our sfl (elder book). I’ve been sending feature suggestions for years and it is so reassuring to see the suggestions either put to use or merged in with other and better suggestions.
Other than feature suggestions, the updates are frequent and well done.
The learning curve is well worth the time and effort. Whatever you are using now, make the switch. There is more than enough support, both officially from the NWS team and the user groups online.
There is no better way to both organize a congregation and remain within theocratic direction!

The New World Scheduler and the accompanying New World Publisher apps do everything you want from your scheduling software. In fact, it probably does even more than you can think of. Also, the developer is actively adding features based on user input which is great to see.
The New World Scheduler program is easy enough to use for even our most tech-challenged brothers. The New World Publisher app is easy enough that almost every single publisher in our congregation uses it to manage their time, check the schedules, and view documents on the virtual information board.

simplicity and efficiency I never even dreamed of
This program has allowed me to systematically organize congregation activities with a simplicity and efficiency I never even dreamed of. I’m able to seamlessly collaborate with everyone that needs to prepare a list for the congregation. It also, has improved the unity in my congregation as all the brothers are kept up to date on all congregation activities. The fact that the entire program can be changed to Jamaican Creole is just the cherry on top.
It has saved me an immeasurable amount of time as a coordinator with many additional roles. My responsibilities would be much much more difficult if it weren’t for this essential program. On top of all the foregoing, NWS treats all records with the strictest of confidentiality and measures up to and often exceeds all requirements for privacy on both a spiritual and secular basis.

The New World Scheduler program and NW Publisher app are an excellent tool to simplify the scheduling and communication of congregation activities. For our congregation, the program has simplified the scheduling of meeting assignments and duties, thereby reducing conflicts and missed assignments. The publishers love the features of the app and how it allows them to see all of the meeting schedules and duties for their service group. Also, the ability to reserve public witnessing carts, along with reporting field service time, are very helpful features.

development team seems committed to carefully refining existing features and adding useful ones
The publishers have been using the app for the last 4 months and REALLY like it. They especially appreciate three things in particular: (1) getting their meeting assignments (2) submitting their field service report (3) Public Witnessing cart reservations.
The elders especially like the synchronization features – changes made by one brother are quickly propagated to all. Our previous program required exchanging data files via email, and we never actually achieved full synchronization. The auto-assign feature works quite well, requiring few manual adjustments.
Another helpful feature is the ability to rapidly push out important announcements to all in congregation. Our area experiences frequent severe, dangerous weather conditions. At times the decision to cancel an in-person meeting is made just an hour or two before it starts. The Announcement feature is perfect for letting everyone know.
Another positive aspect is the on-going development of program features. The development team seems committed to carefully refining existing features and adding useful ones. At the same time, they are not bloating the program with fancy but unnecessary features.

As the secretary of our congregation, I would like to express my appreciate to you. NW Scheduler and the NW Publisher App has drawn our publishers and Body of Elders closer together. Publishers can record their time and field service activity daily. The App totals their month’s activity, and they can confirm or edit the total, and then submit it directly to the NW Scheduler. Then, not only the Secretary, but the Field Service Group Overseers can see the reports. All the elders have access to the personal information of the publishers. They can check with the Secretary or the publisher to update or correct information.
Again, as the Secretary, NW Scheduler greatly simplifies the monthly reports to the Service Overseer and Bi-Annual visit of the Circuit Overseer. The Scheduler allows me to send the S-21 of all the publishers, in the Field Service Group, in one pdf to the Service Overseer, Group Overseer, and his assistant. It allows me to compile the 3 Circuit Overseer’s reports in record time. I can give him the Regular Pioneers, Auxiliary Pioneers, and Publishers S-21’s and totals with a few clicks.
And lastly, it compiles the monthly and yearly Branch reports with a few clicks.

Absolutely love the program! It is by far the best congregation managing tool out there. Having everything under one roof makes it easy to keep our servants up to date with the many scheduling updates that occur each week. We are very happy with the switch and see us using this for the long term
Over the years I have been secretary in several congregations and have used 2 other programs. This one is by far the best. The developers keep it up to date and are quick to fix any bugs. The switch was a little challenging, but well worth the time and effort. The instructions to convert were clear and work when followed. The companion app is awesome! In early 2020 we set up a website as an information board. Then got wind of NWS. Once we tested it out we knew we found a great tool. The friends love it as well. They like being able to view the schedules and congregation activities wherever they are. We are very happy with the switch and see us using this for the long term.

Making an application that is tailored yet versatile, and useable internationally is no easy feat! The approach to its development is well thought out and in harmony with provided direction- including some clever technical solutions to do so. I especially appreciate the very useful automatic sharing, updating, and syncing for easy collaboration without the need for carefully orchestrated complex file sharing schemes to keep all users up-to-date with current data.
And the friends love it- young and old, tech-savvy or not. With a little encouragement and training, it has been enthusiastically adopted by most in our small congregation. Student assignment notifications and reminders have benefited many. Turning in of field service reports has improved. And the information board, congregation events, as well as many other useful features are appreciated and being well utilized by all in the congregation.

NW Scheduler has simplified and streamlined every aspect of operating a kingdom hall. This is NOT a program just for the Elders, but for ALL publishers. Territories, cart scheduling, student assignments, cleaning & maintenance, EVERYTHING is easily managed from one place and with the entire congregation using the mobile app, everything you can put on the information board is always in the hands of everyone. Your programs have been very helpful in communicating and keeping everyone up to date on events, schedules, announcements, etc. Everyone has the information right at their finger tips and notifications of assignments is great! Submitting field service reports has also been very helpful to our secretary, and publishers having their own history is nice. The new feature of the field service activity calendar is really useful. Thanks so much for the public witnessing schedule. That is proving to be very useful. The reports that can be generated is very comprehensive. A fantastic application that allows our body and congregation to have the same information almost instantly and for everyone to see what is coming up without having to send files to each other. Additionally, those who schedule assignments have the ability to do so without handing out overlapping assignments on a given day. we made the switch and have had no regrets
After test driving JWS two years ago we made the switch and have had no regrets. There were multiple benefits, one of which was the companion app JWS Publisher. Publishers can submit their ministry reports directly without service group overseers needing to export a separate file to the congregation secretary, get reminders of upcoming assignments, get announcements, etc. Each subsequent update adds more functions you can actually use and not just ‘fluff’. Key reminders “My Tasks” such as quarterly audits and meeting with those baptized for a year are invaluable. Another plus is that one license covers everyone in the congregation that needs to use the desktop version. It’s a well thought out application.

JWS is our go-to for almost everything to do with congregation scheduling
JWS is our go-to for almost everything to do with congregation scheduling. It has been used for about a year and continues to improve and become more useful. The publishers love the APP, and it is very easy to send out announcements and changes to the various schedules as alerts to the respective recipients, or everyone as the case may require. The recent ‘ME’ section is very helpful as some congregation roles, such as CoBoE, have many matters to care for and JWS makes it easier.

We love the program! It helps us to stay on track
We love the program! It helps us to stay on track with the all the scheduling changes and part substitutions that take place frequently. The Events/Announcements feature allows us to keep the congregation informed of upcoming events, changes to meeting, and is our “Information Board” for posting notices. The time spent in trying to obtain publisher service reports is greatly reduced! We host a foreign-language group so we have been able to incorporate their schedule for Midweek Meetings into the main schedule. Getting the required documents for Circuit Overseer is a breeze. I no longer have to keep a printed copy of my talks, duties and assignments (which would constantly change) since we have the JWPublisher app.

We have used this app for a few years now. Quite honestly I don’t know where to start. There are so many excellent features that I don’t know how we would manage without it. During this time so many improvements have been made that truly make the software amazing. We especially love the integration with the JW Publisher app. All of the brothers are connected through their devices and it makes it so easy to ensure everyone is aware of their assignments and duties. We also love how the data is immediately synced between users. This makes it great for the CLM Overseer and the COBE to work on the CLM schedule very easily. The report layouts are well structured and easy to read and we like the various layout options available. I also appreciate how the program closely follows direction from the organization in all areas where necessary.

LOVE the app – this is so handy and helpful to the friends. The elders have been making great use of it, including announcements for upcoming events. Love having the assignments and duties readily available. Also, the app makes it very easy for us elders, particularly for group overseers and service committee members. Overall, this tool has put our congregation on the map. The meeting schedules both for the Sunday and Midweek meeting have been so useful to invite ones to the public talk and coordinate meetings on a technical aspect for our Zoom brothers. Overall the software has been amazing to help schedule meetings and then syncing so that all the friends have access to the schedules. Since Covid lockdown, we have not had access to the Kingdom Hall for obvious reasons, so New World Scheduler has served well as our virtual announcement board. This is an excellent Application. The simple approach to emailing reminders and assignments is great, the holistic approach to updating members information is great (contact, CLM assignments, service time, etc. all in one spot.)
The canned reports are awesome. The away period is very helpful when scheduling.

We have been using a different program for quite some time and only recently (about 6 months) started using New World Scheduler. Surprisingly in just this short time there have been many very efficient and simplification changes that have made the program work very well.

With us being away from the Kingdom Hall due to the Pandemic, the ability to schedule meetings up to four months in advance and have those schedules in .PDF and .DOC formats serving as our “Public Meeting Information Board,” emailed to all publishers is a tremendous help. That together with the JWS Publisher app keeps all well informed, well in advance of any assessments coming up. With such advanced notice it cuts downs on cancellations that were due to short notices and gives more time for preparation which contributes to better parts given!

My use of this tool is limited to the Christian Life and Ministry Schedule and I am just beginning to use it for developing the Public Talk Schedule. A strong positive is that the meeting part names are already populated as well as songs. This reduces my time. The populating of participants names is very productive also. The resultant “schedule” is very nice and the printing features are excellent.

I am the secretary and Christian Life and Meeting Overseer. I have been using a different program to transfer data between congregations and schedule parts for the mid-week meetings. I was introduced to NW Schedule as well as NW Publisher about three months ago. I transferred all data from the existing program that I was using to NW Scheduler. I migrated 12 Elders to the program and all but just a few publishers to NW Publisher * those not migrated to NW Publisher were delegated to either their family member or Group Overseer). The install was very simple for both NW Scheduler and Publisher. The challenge, not with the software, was dealing with change for about 25% of the congregation. I used several tutorials from the NW Publisher web site to develop a change management procedure to help the entire congregation to use NW Publisher. All Elders are using the NW Scheduler and have expressed only positive comments. I would highly recommend migrating to NW Publisher.

Speaking for our specific congregation, this software has been a blessing. We are only in our early days using it, but it has made so many things more efficient. Scheduling, managing and keeping up with assignments of nearly every type has never been easier, for everyone involved! Even Ministerial Servants, if it is their assignment, can now more appropriately fill roles they may have in scheduling and managing things like AV duties, maintenance, etc.
I won’t go into the features themselves, but i can say that if anyone has concern of whether it is worth the effort to change to New World Scheduler, the way that the integrated NW Publisher app brings applicable information to each individual in the congregation certainly makes it so!!

I have held various assignments over the years, and have used many different programs, but this is by far the simplest to use and the easiest to on-board other servants, upload new information and quickly make schedule changes, such as when we receive a GBU that needs to be put in place of a local needs or other part. NW Publisher app was an immediate hit with the publishers, pioneers and Service Group overseers. We are now able to have around 95% of our FS reports collected by the 4th of the month! Unheard of in our congregation.

Over the years I have used many different tools for congregation work and they all have been very good and served a good purpose. Since technology advances some of those tools have not been able to progress. However when I found JWS it was exactly what was needed for the advancement in tech. Especially with the modification of congregation meetings due to the world health issue. It was so great to be able to have most of the congregation members “connected” to congregation assignments and especially the “virtual post board”. I love the ability to post information needed to inform the friends at the congregation and all get the notification on their cell phones. the best comprehensive app I have seen
This the best comprehensive app I have seen as a servant/publisher data base. We used KHS for talk coordinating and Hourglass for field service reporting, with limited effectiveness. This JWS app blows them away. The alerts to servants for upcoming talks, parts and duties is a great addition to all the other features. The phone ap, NW Publisher, is tremendous for every publisher to be in the know and aware of what is going on in the congregation. Everyone feels more connected and a part of the congregation family. I whole hardily recommend New World Scheduler!

Making an application that is tailored yet versatile, and useable internationally is no easy feat! The approach to its development is well thought out and in harmony with provided direction- including some clever technical solutions to do so. I especially appreciate the very useful automatic sharing, updating, and syncing for easy collaboration without the need for carefully orchestrated complex file sharing schemes to keep all users up-to-date with current data.
And the friends love it- young and old, tech-savvy or not. With a little encouragement and training, it has been enthusiastically adopted by most in our small congregation. NW Publisher has been an outstanding program allowing our congregation publishers to stay informed of assignments, adjustments, and information related to the local congregation. Add to that, any changes made are done instantly. Those with responsibilities have been able utilize one program and database to care for our many responsibilities instead using several programs which has greatly assisted us. Thank you for continuing to update and add features that enhance this great program!

Love the interface. Makes it all easy. Having the Help menu available on every page is wonderful. We have used other programs before, but they were a bit clunky. The best part of this program is enabling the publishers to turn in their time, with the Group Overseers being able to follow up. The publishers have a miniature Information Board in their pocket, so that they don’t have to ask the same questions over and over. They have their assignments in their pockets, including cleaning of the KH. No one feels pressured. We all feel unified. It gives the elders more time for their personal time with the publishers, and their families. It’s a win-win!!!

there is nothing I do not like
Now that I have familiarized myself with both NW Scheduler and NW Publisher, there is nothing I do not like about the program. I am the talk coordinator for my congregation and for me the whole process of scheduling is very intuitive. Also, if the Watchtower reader and Sunday Chairman need to make scheduling changes (trades… whatever), they now let me know. I make the change in NW Scheduler and now everyone knows who is scheduled and the right person gets the reminder.
Also, scheduling cart work could not be easier. Love it!! Now all we need to do is encourage the friends to take the cart back to the hall after their shift. 😮

Our congregation migrated from KHS. As the Talk Coordinator, I use a number of features. I am not the sharpest computer junkie out there, but find my way around OK. The transition was a bit rough for me, but well worth the results. The help screens are very very good. I’ve never had to ask for help from NWS. In my previous KHS experience several time I had data disappear and had to do backups. I wrote asking for help and never got an answer. I do not think NWS is any more difficult than KHS, it’s just different. For someone starting from scratch it should be easier.

a level of communication never experienced before
I am an 83 year old brother serving as Secretary. THIS system provides an ability to communicate with our congregation members that far surpasses our previous system. Our B.O.E. has been dragged kicking and screaming into the program and have finally recognized the very positive aspects of the program. I am still learning but am positively convinced this program has allowed our congregation members a level of communication never experienced before. So much easier than manually making the duty schedules like I used to. I especially like how easily you can identify brothers that are unavailable due to having other assignments, and how it sorts eligible brothers for an assignment by time since they last handled it. This makes it easy to balance the rotation of brothers through an assignment even when scheduling conflicts complicate the regular rotation.
The ability to generate both docx and pdf also makes it very easy to print and email the schedules as needed.

NWS is vastly superior for many reasons
We used to use a different program prior to switching to NWS. In my opinion, NWS is vastly superior for many reasons but I will just mention two here.
1. The mobile app. Having access to information at my disposal is invaluable for a variety of occasions. For example, checking assignments not only for myself but having access to the weekly assignments of others is vary useful.
2. Access to who has and has not submitted ministry reports for groups along with the ability for the overseer to submit for the publisher is so useful.
Recent changes and features have been awesome as well. Another example of that is the ability of the attendant to post the meeting attendance right in the app. Amazing!
Please keep making this program! I look forward to see what you have in store next.

My brothers, many congregations are using KHS. You took that feature set and expanded on it greatly. The congregation syncing is fantastic and resolves emailing files with confidential information.

We really enjoy having a one stop source to organize the multiple schedules necessary to keep our congregation active. We benefit from the versatility of implementing various field service schedules. It is also easier to track the various assigned duties and all brothers benefit from knowing when they are scheduled ahead of time by downloading NW pub app. L&M assignments and scheduling are very, very useful. Talk coordinating with other congregations is becoming more useful as other congregations around our area are beginning to implement NW Scheduler…. We are happy to use NW Scheduler even though KHS makes the transition a bit more difficult.

I appreciate being able to suggest features, that a confirmed problem is noted and corrected, that the program is moving toward more robust features that will enable all facets of congregational data needs to be in one program; the upcoming release with territory enhancements is a huge step.
The publishers deeply enjoy the updated information being immediately accessible. Unto itself, this is (to me) one of its greatest features. We are here to care for the sheep, and this program takes away the need for service group overseers, etc., to pass a lot of the information around individually.

We love the program! It helps us to stay on track with the all the scheduling changes and part substitutions that take place frequently. The Events/Announcements feature allows us to keep the congregation informed of upcoming events, changes to meeting, and is our “Information Board” for posting notices. The time spent in trying to obtain publisher service reports is greatly reduced! We host a foreign-language group so we have been able to incorporate their schedule for Midweek Meetings into the main schedule. Getting the required documents for Circuit Overseer is a breeze. I no longer have to keep a printed copy of my talks, duties and assignments (which would constantly change) since we have the JWPublisher app.

As a brother that is newly assigned to schedule specific assignments, I am grateful for this software. It makes it easy to keep track of who has what assignments, who is going to be out of town, etc.

our CLMO loves it
I still don’t understand how you can talk into an empty green bean can with a string attached and hear it in a can on the other end! So I certainly don’t understand how programs like this come to life. But I DO know that the publishers love having all this information at their fingertips. The assignment notifications are super helpful! And our CLMO loves it because notice of student assignment changes goes out to the friends right away. Thanks so much for your work on this program!

a more transparent view of all that is going on in the congregation
This application has allowed us to offer a more transparent view of all that is going on in the congregation.
It is great to have all the views at the bottom of the screen where cong events are reviewed along with assignments, field ministry locations of zoom codes, and each persons assignments.
The away periods also help in scheduling a great degree as we don’t assign a part to someone who is going to be gone saving more rescheduling.
Also for the field ministry reporting, we can see who has entered reports or not, and be able to get the report to the branch in a timely manner, also the circuit overseer report is simple and done the way we are supposed to make our report.

The New World Scheduler program and NW Publisher app are an excellent tool to simplify the scheduling and communication of congregation activities. For our congregation, the program has simplified the scheduling of meeting assignments and duties, thereby reducing conflicts and missed assignments. The publishers love the features of the app and how it allows them to see all of the meeting schedules and duties for their service group. Also, the ability to reserve public witnessing carts, along with reporting field service time, are very helpful features.
This is an outstanding program and we highly recommend it to any congregation considering this tool.

I really like the program. I haven’t noticed any hiccups with any operations. I am the CLAM overseer and love the way it can automatically schedule the students. I send a reminder out every Monday morning early and always the same performance, no issues.

The ability to have a single source of truth in our data, in full sync between our appointed brothers is so amazing and secure! No more emailing outdated zip files! The UI ease of use and organization are also a big improvement! The ability to use the built in mail function along with a large variety of templates has been extremely useful. The reporting and congregation sharing feature is also one of a kind. Finally, words can’t express the value of the app for the publishers, the information sharing and ability to submit field ministry reports, emergency contact information, etc. and how that has changed our ability to have accurate and well communicated data!

a great help in compiling field service… with the click of a mouse it’s entered
As a congregation secretary JWS has been a great help in compiling field service, particularly as it allows the friends to report their time through their app and then with the click of a mouse it’s entered into the report. Personally, the assignment reminders have been great in helping me to be aware of assignments. Being able to add the assignments to my Google calendar, directly through the JWS app, keeps me from missing them.

Although New World Scheduler provides a way to simplify the many responsibilities that elders care for in the congregation, an outstanding feature is the mobile app, NW Publisher. Changes in New World Scheduler are immediately accessible to all in the congregation who are affected by the change via the mobile app. Whether it is meeting assignments, duties, or simply the schedule for the week, it’s all available to the publisher without having to scan an entire information board while physically present at the Kingdom Hall. When a change is made, it is not always practical to print a new copy and post it on the information board. However, it can be done virtually through the mobile app.

we love the flexibility provided… Highly recommended for any congregation
A fantastic application that allows our body and congregation to have the same information almost instantly and for everyone to see what is coming up without having to send files to each other. Additionally, those who schedule assignments have the ability to do so without handing out overlapping assignments on a given day. There are so many features that we haven’t even been able to incorporate all of them. Finally, we love the flexibility provided, but without being overly complex or difficult to use. Highly recommended for any congregation looking for a tool to help with the basic and more complex needs of coordination and scheduling.

seven out of five stars
This program along with the app are wonderful. The publishers have the whole information board in their pocket along with their publisher record card. Now with the activity report they can record their daily activity and just submit at the end of the month. As an elder I really appreciate being able to have access to the publisher record cards to be able to better shepherd the congregation without all of the data sharing problems of the previous software. The previous KHS and FSG were an improvement but this program and the app left them in the dust. If I had to rate them I would give the seven out of five stars.

Our congregation moved to JW a few months ago and the friends love it. We just turned on Public Witnessing this week, so far feedback has been positive. As a COBE I have found this has many features that can be helpful as reminders and tracking the many things that must be done. I am trying to take one thing at a time to learn but it has been very helpful. This past Mid Week Meeting cycle I submitted the Life and Ministry Assignments in the App and it worked well! We made the switch and everyone loves it!
I was introduced to JW Publisher by a brother in our former congregation (ASL). We fell in love with the idea that all the appointed brothers could collaborate their work in one program AND that we could disseminate the product of our work to the congregation through an app AND have the publishers turn in the field service reports through an app. Wow! We were eager to try out the new program. Despite a few kicks and starts, things eventually smoothed out and it essentially became a “well-oiled-machine”. After moving back to an English congregation this year, I took a few months quietly waiting my time to introduce the program to my new body of elders (didn’t want to make waves with a new BOE). After only a few months, another elder came to me enthusiastically raving about this new app that a sister congregation was using – NW Scheduler. I told that we had used it in ASL and everyone LOVED it! I didn’t have to say a thing. He sold the rest of the BOE on the program. We made the switch and everyone loves it! I know it has now evolved into NW Publisher and NW Scheduler, but it continues to grow as a more and more effective tool. I can’t thank you dear brothers enough for your creating and sustaining such a wonderful program. Keep humble. I heard about this software as we were coming out of the pandemic and were going to be setting up our literature carts once again. Pre-pandemic our scheduling brother was spending hours trying to fill no-show spots. The NWP app, allowing the friends to schedule according to what they want to do, has been such a blessing. Along the way, other features of the app have been added to our repertoire. The friends in the congregation love having the meeting schedules handy. Also the announcement feature is a huge plus.

With a busy schedule juggling family life, remote bethel work, secular work and everything else it was essential for me to find a program that would allow me to handle all my congregation responsibilities in an organised way. NW Scheduler was a gift from Jehovah! As the CLM overseer a feature that I really appreciate is
… that when I am assigning parts not only are the most former publishers to have that part are put at the top of the list but I am also able to see their most recent assassignments. We love it.
After using KHS for years our congregation has switched to NWS. We love it. As Secretary getting everyones Service reports was always a challange, now I have 50-70% of reports in by day 3 and the friends love it.
Especially with the number of people on zoom being able to post information board information so the friends have it right at their finger tips is very useful.
On KHS it was always a challenge to keep our data clean. Even having one brother acting as “KHS Coordinator” and being the only one to share data I often had to go back to old saved data and rework it. Those days are gone.
I love the Public Talk sharing and hope more congregations will utilize it. It saves so much time in updating and prevents copying data errors.
The friends utilize and love the NWP app. It puts all the information they need right at their finger tips. Even our less tech savey members have taken to it. And for those who can’t the delegate feature simplifies reporting FS time.
All of this and it is less expensive than KHS since it is a congregational cost not individual. That way elders who are financially compromised can still utilize NWS’s features.

With us being away from the Kingdom Hall due to the Pandemic, the ability to schedule meetings up to four months in advance and have those schedules in .PDF and .DOC formats serving as our “Public Meeting Information Board,” emailed to all publishers is a tremendous help. That together with the JWS Publisher app keeps all well informed, well in advance of any assessments coming up. With such advanced notice it cuts downs on cancellations that were due to short notices and gives more time for preparation which contributes to better parts given!

This NW Publisher is the best program I have ever seen, to collect and keep track of the friends and congregation activity. I was baptized in 1969, and served as the secretary for at least 20 years. Back then I had to collect every report, add all the service, fill all the service cards, and mail the report to the branch before the six of the month.

as the Secretary, NW Scheduler greatly simplifies the monthly reports to the Service Overseer and Bi-Annual visit of the Circuit Overseer
As the secretary of our congregation, I would like to express my appreciate to you. NW Scheduler and the NW Publisher App has drawn our publishers and Body of Elders closer together. Publishers can record their time and field service activity daily. The App totals their month’s activity, and they can confirm or edit the total, and then submit it directly to the NW Scheduler. Then, not only the Secretary, but the Field Service Group Overseers can see the reports. All the elders have access to the personal information of the publishers. They can check with the Secretary or the publisher to update or correct information.
Again, as the Secretary, NW Scheduler greatly simplifies the monthly reports to the Service Overseer and Bi-Annual visit of the Circuit Overseer. The Scheduler allows me to send the S-21 of all the publishers, in the Field Service Group, in one pdf to the Service Overseer, Group Overseer, and his assistant. It allows me to compile the 3 Circuit Overseer’s reports in record time. I can give him the Regular Pioneers, Auxiliary Pioneers, and Publishers S-21’s and totals with a few clicks.
And lastly, it compiles the monthly and yearly Branch reports with a few clicks.

development team seems committed to carefully refining existing features and adding useful ones
The publishers have been using the app for the last 4 months and REALLY like it. They especially appreciate three things in particular: (1) getting their meeting assignments (2) submitting their field service report (3) Public Witnessing cart reservations.
The elders especially like the synchronization features – changes made by one brother are quickly propagated to all. Our previous program required exchanging data files via email, and we never actually achieved full synchronization. The auto-assign feature works quite well, requiring few manual adjustments.
Another helpful feature is the ability to rapidly push out important announcements to all in congregation. Our area experiences frequent severe, dangerous weather conditions. At times the decision to cancel an in-person meeting is made just an hour or two before it starts. The Announcement feature is perfect for letting everyone know.
Another positive aspect is the on-going development of program features. The development team seems committed to carefully refining existing features and adding useful ones. At the same time, they are not bloating the program with fancy but unnecessary features.

I appreciate the more flexible way that the New World Scheduler app has been designed to function. Some other scheduling apps have dogmatically presumed parameters of use that restrict how information can be entered, or how one piece of information links to another. They do not easily allow users to have improvised or custom info fields. The developers of NWS appear to be very conscientious about crafting their app with a more logical workflow, including appropriate leeway to utilize user-customized details throughout the program. This is a welcome design approach that makes the apps far more versatile and friendly to use, even when organizing specialized scheduling circumstances.

Synchronization and cross platform compatibility really shines in making this tool useful for a servant body to keep up to date. Not having to send exchange files and negotiate inconsistencies with local databases or double check you’re looking at the most recent version of a schedule sent by a messenger app makes sure all the brothers are on the same page. Likewise, no preference to needing to use a desktop computer to get use out of the app, nor exclusion of Apple or Android mobile devices makes it easier for bodies to accept its usage better.

Our Congregation loves the JWS app. Having all the Meeting Schedules and Congregation Assignments with notification reminders all on their devices to access whenever they need has made everyone feel more connected. Setting up the initial system takes some time but the more you put into the system the more time it saves you in the long run. Hi, I’m a long time KHS user that converted to NWS within the past year. I have ZERO regrets doing so. I enjoy the fact that you allow the Congregations data to remain just that – the Congregations data.
Many of the friends enjoy the ability to request Territories and turn in their time through the App.

That is without a doubt the most appealing feature of your app. We (CBOE, SEC, LMO, PT hated having to constantly exchange data through <previous software program> to stay in sync with each other. Also, <previous software program> support has progressively gotten worse, to the point that it is non-existent. For that reason I started using your app. 2-3 years ago. We also like your mobile app and the announcement and assignment reminder features within it.

This software is GREAT!! I’ve used several different softwares in the past that has gotten the work that I needed done. However, this software has by far exceeded my expectations. I love using NW Scheduler. I find it very easy to use
I love using NW Scheduler. I find it very easy to use for organizing congregation matters. As the coordinator of the body of elders I have made it my custom to use the app at all meetings. It helps me remember at a glance who have certain duties and who have certain assignments. I appreciate being able to look ahead a week or two simply by swiping the screen from right to left. The addition of sending the meeting attendance via the app and being able to see which publishers have not turned in field service reports is a huge improvement.

The ease of requesting speakers from another congregation through this is AMAZING!
Even if some congregations in your circuit aren’t on this program, it makes scheduling so much easier. Not to mention after the initial setup is complete, all assignments and duties are all together. If done properly, there shouldn’t be duplicate assignments on the same meetings (unless on purpose). Plus the text reminders are a life saver for QB’s who handle multiple assignments. If you’ve overlooked an assignment, you are reminded multiple times if you wish. Public talk scheduling with this is practically a requirement. The ease of requesting speakers from another congregation through this is AMAZING! Highly recommend this program.

everyone quickly realized how superior the software is
Being a long time user of KHS we were pleased to be introduced to NW Scheduler/Publisher. With anything new it took a little time for the friends to accept the new app, but everyone quickly realized how superior the software is and the friends just loved all the information at their fingertips. The few times we thought we had issues, it was either operator error, or an update was distributed quickly within a few days. As congregation secretary I appreciated how quickly the friends would turn in their field service time. Our CLM overseer and the brothers who schedule work assignments are pleased with the ease of scheduling their respective tasks.
NW Scheduler truly is the “Swiss Army Knife” of congregation software, it does it all!

There is no better way to both organize a congregation and remain within theocratic direction!
NW Scheduler has become the only way to operate a congregation. We’ve been using NWS for 4 years. One of the most important things to recognise is the adherence to organizational direction and structure. The data complies with our direction in our sfl (elder book). I’ve been sending feature suggestions for years and it is so reassuring to see the suggestions either put to use or merged in with other and better suggestions.
Other than feature suggestions, the updates are frequent and well done.
The learning curve is well worth the time and effort. Whatever you are using now, make the switch. There is more than enough support, both officially from the NWS team and the user groups online.
There is no better way to both organize a congregation and remain within theocratic direction!

As a former user of KHS (no disrespect-a fine program), I appreciate the ease of use of New World Scheduler and its app, NW Publisher. At a glance, I am able to see my upcoming assignments months ahead.
I am also able to keep track of current assignments through the yellow icon that appears when I have a part for that week. It’s easy to see when our FSG is responsible for cleaning the hall and for other assignments. Publishers can see who is leading the ministry for that day, afternoon, evening, and weekend.
I remember having pdfs and paper schedules inside of a loose leaf notebook-it was organized but not as easy as this- any changes are immediately available to all who keep their app updated.
All the organization I need without taking along extra books, calendars, etc. As an elder, this has helped me to be able to have more time for shepherding instead of spending it on organizing- let technology do what it does best while I look after the sheep.

The new Public Witnessing schedule available on the NW Publisher app has been received very well by the friends, expecially considering that they can schedule a cart location without having to sign up on paper.

I am the secretary and Christian Life and Meeting Overseer. I have been using a different program to transfer data between congregations and schedule parts for the mid-week meetings. I was introduced to NW Schedule as well as NW Publisher about three months ago. I transferred all data from the existing program that I was using to NW Scheduler. I migrated 12 Elders to the program and all but just a few publishers to NW Publisher * those not migrated to NW Publisher were delegated to either their family member or Group Overseer). The install was very simple for both NW Scheduler and Publisher. The challenge, not with the software, was dealing with change for about 25% of the congregation. I used several tutorials from the NW Publisher web site to develop a change management procedure to help the entire congregation to use NW Publisher. All Elders are using the NW Scheduler and have expressed only positive comments. I would highly recommend migrating to NW Publisher.

We enjoy using this program and the friends with the app really appreciate it too. There is so much more it will do if more on our body would make use of it. That said, even if no one else used it, as secretary, NWS is best program I have used.

Speaking for our specific congregation, this software has been a blessing. We are only in our early days using it, but it has made so many things more efficient. Scheduling, managing and keeping up with assignments of nearly every type has never been easier, for everyone involved! Even Ministerial Servants, if it is their assignment, can now more appropriately fill roles they may have in scheduling and managing things like AV duties, maintenance, etc.
I won’t go into the features themselves, but i can say that if anyone has concern of whether it is worth the effort to change to New World Scheduler, the way that the integrated NW Publisher app brings applicable information to each individual in the congregation certainly makes it so!!
All of the constant thought, time, effort and love these Brothers and Sisters put into this service is immensely appreciated!!!

this is by far the simplest to use and the easiest to on-board
I have held various assignments over the years, and have used many different programs, but this is by far the simplest to use and the easiest to on-board other servants, upload new information and quickly make schedule changes, such as when we receive a GBU that needs to be put in place of a local needs or other part. NW Publisher app was an immediate hit with the publishers, pioneers and Service Group overseers. We are now able to have around 95% of our FS reports collected by the 4th of the month! Unheard of in our congregation.
Thank you, brothers, for your labors of love in our behalf. Your work is truly appreciated.

The more I explore the features… the more I appreciate all that it can do
JW Scheduler is not difficult to use after the initial learning curve and spending some time with it, as is necessary with any new undertaking. I have come to appreciate how efficient the software is and have experienced just how unifying it is not only to the appointed brothers, who use it, but to the congregation as a whole with it’s NW Publisher mobile app counterpart. I am thrilled to put it to work for the congregation. The more I explore the features that go beyond my current assignment as Public Talk Coordinator the more I appreciate all that it can do. While it can be used for any individual assignment, it’s real value and power shines when it is adopted by all who have scheduling assignments in the congregation. As updates and new versions are rolled out it just keeps getting better and better. The end result is a reduction in the time and energy it takes to fulfill our assignments.

NW Scheduler has put our congregation on the same page. Previously we had so many different schedules to keep track of, which can make it hard for the friends to remember assignments. My two favorite features are 1)the new information board, which allows friend that connect mainly via zoom to have access to announcements, letters, and schedules typically put on the information board. 2) The triangle alerts when scheduling. It is super helpful that scrolling over the alert tells you what that brother has in the event that they to be assigned to multiple things in a given week. Not necessarily a feature, the ability to get as many assignments on one schedule is huge

Thank you very much for your hard work on this program! It is the best all-in-one program of this type that I have ever used (and I’ve used a few!). Since implementing it in our congregation, the friends love it. The like having the app on their phones, and being able to see all the schedules, their upcoming assignments, as well as turn in their field service report on it. (I am also happy that no publisher or field service information is stored on online servers, per current direction.) I really appreciate how easy it is for the entire body of elders to use – even older brothers, or those who are not that computer literate. It makes scheduling meeting parts and assignments easy to coordinate, and everyone always current and up to date – even with contact info. Your online help features are excellent too – every time I have a question, I have always found the answer there. At least one neighboring congregation is using it now too, after they saw all the information available on the app for the friends. Thanks again – and keep up the good work!

We are thoroughly impressed by this application and program. I personally appreciate the efforts to regularly update it and keep up with Branch adjustments. The ability to have most necessary duties required by a body of elders in one place is impressive. This has helped so much with taking care of our necessary business.

Every time I think of a great new feature, on the next update it is there.
Publishers love the Publisher app, tells them all about the meetings, assignments and way to keep trac of their time. I love the Public talk assignment list, lists all their talks, I don’t have to send out updates all the time, The information board list all the info that is normally on the physical information board, saves pubs calling all the time with questions.
Being able to list memorial times for the next two years is great.
Every time I think of a great new feature, on the next update it is there.
The territory section is awesome, assigning territories on the app, with the ability to put dnc info saves so much time. There are so many more features, it is awesome. Best I have ever used.
