Minor Problems

If you experience minor problems importing data, such as some data missing or incorrect, there is likely nothing we can do.

There are usually some data incompatibilities between different software programs.

Likely it will only take a few minutes to add or edit any missing or incorrect data.

Major Problems

Step 1 - Check

If you experience major problems importing data:

  1. Visit Downloads to download and install the latest Minor Version of New World Scheduler
  2. Ensure you are clicking the correct Import button
    • Example 1: if Importing from KHS, do not select Import from CSV.
    • Example 2: If importing from Territory Helper, do not select Import from CSV.
  3. Carefully re-read the Import Instructions and ensure you carefully follow each step 100% accurately
  4. Carefully check the Import Log to see what data did or didn’t import, and why
  5. Try to Import again after carefully checking and follow the instructions accurately.

Step 2 - Ask for help locally

Importing Data can sometimes be tricky. For example, the Export process from other software can sometimes be complicated, and CSV files must be created perfectly or they might not work correctly.

If your Import is still not working, we recommend asking a young local brother with good computer skills to assist. Sometimes a second pair of eyes can make all the difference and ensure you smoothly import your data.

Step 3 - Contact Us for help

If you are still unable to Import data correctly, we might be able to assist. However, you absolutely must do the following:

  1. Perform the Import again, but this time make a Screen Recording of each and every step you perform
  2. Click Help > Contact Us > Problem > Importing to contact us
  3. Include the following:
    • Description of what you’re trying to Import and what is not working
    • Screen Recording
    • Import Logs
    • The data file you’re trying to import

Important: You must please include the following when you Contact Us:

  • Description of what you’re trying to Import and what is not working
  • Screen Recording
  • Import Logs
  • The data file you’re trying to import

If you do not include these, there is nothing we can do to assist. It is simply impossible to diagnose Import problems without those 4 items.

Importing Territories Limitations

If you are importing Territories that countian Boundaries (Maps), you can import up to 10 Territory boundaries to evaluate this feature before deciding whether to purchase a Congregation Gold License.

If you are importing Territory Addresses, you can add up to 20 addresses to evaluate this feature before deciding whether to upgrade.

A Congregation Gold License can import up to 1000 territories and unlimited addresses.
