This Privacy Policy describes how New World Solutions Pty Ltd (“we,” “our” or “us”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with our websites (including nwscheduler.com and nwpublisher.com), New World Scheduler software (NWS Desktop and NWS Mobile), and the separate NW Publisher app (collectively referred to as the “SERVICES”).

We keep certain basic information when you use our SERVICES and recognize the importance of keeping that information secure and letting you know what we will do with it. The term “personal data” as used in this Policy refers to information such as your name, e-mail address, mailing address, telephone number, or any other data that can be used to identify you.
DATA CONTROLLER INFORMATION
The SERVICES are owned and operated by New World Solutions Pty Ltd. New World Solutions acts as an independent Data Controller for Registered User Account Data, consisting solely of NWS Desktop and NWS Mobile users’ first names and email addresses. This information is used for software registration, licensing, account management, service communications, and support, and is stored on servers located in Australia.
Registered User Account Data is separate and distinct from Congregation Data. Congregation Data consists of encrypted and obfuscated data strings that may or may not contain Personal Data, depending on the information entered by the Congregation. Congregation Data is stored locally on users’ devices and, where Congregation Sharing is enabled, encrypted and obfuscated strings are also stored in the selected sharing server region. New World Solutions cannot decrypt or read the underlying contents of Congregation Data. Where applicable, the separate Data Processing Agreement governs our Processing of Congregation Data on behalf of Congregations.
We do not sell Personal Data or allow advertising companies to collect information through our Services for targeted advertising. We may use third-party service providers, including hosting and payment-processing providers, where necessary to operate our Services, subject to applicable privacy and data protection requirements.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
New World Scheduler (NWS Desktop and NWS Mobile). You are required to provide your first name and email address when you first begin using NWS Desktop or NWS Mobile. This information is used for software registration, account management, support, registration reminders, and important updates. This Registered User Account Data is separate from Congregation Data.
NW Publisher app (NWP). New World Solutions Pty Ltd does not collect any data from the NW Publisher app.
Registration and Payments. When purchasing a software registration, we may ask for contact or billing information, including your name and email address. Payments are processed securely by third-party payment processors. We do not store payment card or bank account details on our systems.
Communications. If you contact us through our website or by email, we may receive your name, email address, message contents, attachments, and any other information you voluntarily provide. This information is used to respond to your enquiry or provide support.
Usage and Diagnostic Information. New World Solutions Pty Ltd collects basic information about how NWS Desktop and NWS Mobile are used to improve software reliability, performance, and user experience. We use unique device identifiers to distinguish computers and mobile devices. This information is not linked to registered users’ first names or email addresses. No usage or diagnostic information is collected from NW Publisher app.
CONGREGATION, PERSON, AND SCHEDULE DATA
All congregation, person, and schedule data is owned and controlled by you and your congregation. You are responsible for determining what information is entered, ensuring it is stored and used in accordance with applicable laws, managing access permissions, and maintaining local backups.
New World Solutions cannot decrypt or read the underlying contents of your Congregation Data. If you voluntarily send us readable data for debugging or support purposes, it will only be used for that purpose and deleted immediately after the support services are completed.
CONGREGATION SHARING
Congregation Sharing allows you to securely share congregation, person, and schedule information with approved users in your congregation. This feature is optional and must be enabled by the congregation.
All Congregation Data is end-to-end encrypted (E2EE) and obfuscated on your device before being transferred to the selected regional sharing servers. New World Solutions does not possess the decryption keys and cannot access, read, or view the underlying congregation information.
The Congregation is responsible for determining who is authorized to access the shared information and ensuring such sharing complies with applicable laws. DATA SECURITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY
We take the security and confidentiality of your Personal Data seriously. We use appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect Personal Data against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification, or loss. Any third-party service providers processing Personal Data on our behalf are required to maintain appropriate security and confidentiality protections.
We protect Personal Data during transmission using encryption protocols such as Transport Layer Security (TLS). Access to our systems is restricted and protected by physical, electronic, and administrative security measures.
