New World Scheduler compliance with EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

New World Scheduler takes data privacy and security very seriously. We believe that your congregation data is yours, should be available only to your congregation, and should be fully secure at all times. We also understand we are living in critical times, and soon the Great Tribulation will arrive.

New World Scheduler and NW Publisher app fully comply with the European Union (EU) General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We do not access, process, transfer, view or edit ANY of your New World Scheduler data and all your data is stored securely.

New World Scheduler

All data is stored on your local computer only, under your User Profile folder, meaning other users of your computer can’t access it.

All data is always encrypted, both when the program is open and closed.

New World Scheduler developers, admins and support personnel CANNOT access, process, transfer, view or edit ANY of your New World Scheduler data, at ANY time, under ANY circumstances, with the following exceptions:

  1. New World Solutions Pty Ltd collects information on how elders use NW Scheduler so that we can improve our software and deliver a better experience. To do this, we use unique device identifiers to identify your computer or mobile device. This is completely anonymous. No personal information is sent.
  2. Appointed Brothers who use NW Scheduler are required to provide a first name and email address when they first open and begin using New World Scheduler. This information is stored securely and is used by New World Scheduler to help us better manage registration and support. Your email address and first name may also occasionally be used to provide support, registration reminders or send important updates about New World Scheduler.

New World Solutions Pty Ltd does not collect, access, process, transfer, view or edit any personal information from any publishers.

You may edit and delete any New World Scheduler data at any time. This can easily be done in either Edit Person, Remove Person, or Delete Congregation.

Your Responsibilities

New World Scheduler is a software tool that can be used by approved congregation elders and other appointed brothers to store personal information, create schedules and process congregation data.

Before you create, edit, view, store or process any personal data, you must obtain any legally required consent to store this information in New World Scheduler. (Likely your congregation elders have already done this)

Your Consent

By installing New World Scheduler on your computer, you consent to and agree with our Privacy Policy and License Agreement.

Congregation Sharing

Congregation Sharing allows you to automatically share and synchronize all New World Scheduler data with other appointed brothers in your congregation only. Congregation Sharing does NOT store confidential information online.

Instead, NON-CONFIDENTIAL encrypted New World Scheduler data strings are stored on a server in the region you select for the sole purpose of sharing and syncing New World Scheduler data with other approved appointed brothers in your congregation. Sharing servers are secure and encrypted.

For example, if you select a European server and only share with brothers in your congregation who live in the European Union, your data will never be transferred outside of the European Union.

New World Scheduler developers, admins and support personnel CANNOT access, process, transfer, view or edit ANY Congregation Sharing New World Scheduler data, at ANY time, under ANY circumstances, with the following exceptions:

  1. Shared Persons are required to provide their first name and email address when using Congregation Sharing. This information is stored securely and is used by New World Scheduler for security and authentication purposes, as well as sending security notifications.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for selecting the correct Sharing Region. For example, brothers in the European Union should select one of the European regions.

You are responsible to select which appointed brothers in your congregation can access New World Scheduler information, and ensure they have a legal and scriptural right to access such information.

You are responsible for obtaining any legally required consent to store New World Scheduler data. For example, congregations in the EU may require publishers consent to store and process their personally identifiable information (PII). (Likely your congregation elders have already done this)

You are responsible to edit, adjust or permanently remove any stored New World Scheduler data if required. This can easily be done in either Edit Person, Remove Person, Disable Sharing, or Delete Congregation.

You understand that New World Solutions Pty Ltd does not have any access to your data and cannot view, change, add, transfer or process any of the congregation or personal data you enter into NW Scheduler or NW Publisher app.

Your Consent

Congregation Sharing is disabled by default. It must be voluntarily enabled.

By enabling Congregation Sharing for your congregation, you consent to and agree with all Your Responsibilities outlined above, as well as our Privacy Policy and License Agreement.

NW Publisher app

The NW Publisher is an iOS and Android app that allows publishers to electronically view information created in New World Scheduler by their local congregation elders.

NW Publisher does NOT store any confidential data online.

Instead, NON-CONFIDENTIAL encrypted New World Scheduler data strings are stored on the app server for the sole purpose of sharing this data with approved publishers in your congregation.

New World Scheduler developers, admins and support personnel CANNOT access, process, transfer, view or edit ANY NW Publisher app data, at ANY time, under ANY circumstances, with the following exceptions:

  1. Publishers are required to provide their first name to congregation elders when first identifying themselves in NW Publisher app. This information is stored securely and is only used by New World Scheduler to identify the person when connecting to your congregation.

You are responsible for obtaining any legally required consent to store NW Publisher app data. For example, congregations in the EU may require publishers consent to store and process their personally identifiable information (PII). (Likely your congregation elders have already done this)

You are responsible to edit, adjust or permanently remove any stored NW Publisher app data if required. This can easily be done in either Edit Person, Remove Person, Disable app access, or Delete Congregation.
