Data Maintenance ensures your New World Schedule remains error free and your data optimzed.
Automatic Data Maintenance
Each time you open New World Scheduler, Automatic Data Maintenance silently runs in the background. This takes just a few seconds or less.
This checks your data and does the following:
- Removes any expired or old data, according to the Data Retention Policy
- E.G. old Publisher Reports, Territory Assignments, Meeting Attendance Records
- Removes certain duplicate data
- E.G. Duplicate assignments, publisher reports, duties, etc
- Fixes any data problems
- E.G. Incorrect Person ID, missing persons, etc
All data changes are logged in the Automatic Maintenance Logs.
- Click Congregation > Data Maintenance > Auto Maintenance Logs to view these logs.
Depending on the data that was changed, this occasionally results in data waiting to Send To App. Please Send this data.
Manual Data Maintenance
Manual Data Maintenance is similar to Automatic Data Maintenance, but goes further and deeper. It also detects data that was corrupted, orphaned or duplicated.
We suggest brothers run this every few months, or if you experience any data problems or duplication.

To run Data Maintenance:
- Click Congregation > Data Maintenance > Detect Data Problems
- Check the results and decide to fix/remove this data to clean up your NWS database.
- Click Congregation > Data Maintenance > Fix Problem Data
