We were using a good scheduler before New World Scheduler and I would say it’s far better, more intuitive, and very flexible. It’s a very comprehensive tool that helps in planning and coordinating cong affairs. One key feature I love here is the information board which helps in reducing paper work on the main info board in the kingdom hall. Also, announcements that require urgent attention from cong members can be placed here and instantly shared amongst them rather than waiting till the next meeting day. While WhatsApp and Telegram can be used for same, jw scheduler helps to reach those who for various legitimate reasons, have refused to use social media.
Another key feature I love here is assignment reminder. You can view all your assignments and other tasks in your jw publisher app and be reminded of your assignments few days before they’re due. This helps as a memory aid.
I also love that all publishers can submit their field service reports on the first day of a new month without waiting till the next meeting day. It also eliminates paper works involved with the manual reporting.
there are many other handy features that are really great. In all, jw scheduler is really a great app that though very light in storage space requirement, contains everything a cong needs to run smoothly.
