NW Scheduler allowed us to bring a little more order to the chaos of transferring back ups from one brother to the next. While this worked for some time, there was always a fear of someone else overwriting or removing information or worse: too many back-ups going around all with different changes.
Usually we would have to create a schedule many months in advance, midweek meeting appointment men first, then student talks, then public talks and outgoing assignments, hospitality, cleaning. Then from what was left we would do attendants/audio and other remaining assignments.
Being able to all work on our schedules as needed has made us work more efficiently and use our time more wisely. The included access control features for admins allows us not to have to worry about information being deleted accidentally.
Though it took some time to get used to the entire range of features, and learning how to navigate to the right screen or report, it was well worth it.
The connection to the NW Publisher app has been amazing, the publishers love being able to do everything on one app, and have the most current information. It allows each publisher to find the information they need and its easily accessible when it’s convenient for them. Update their contact information, pull up their own time for the year. Its been great. In the past, we used one website to report time and keep congregation records, another site for public witnessing scheduling and yet another for keeping congregation schedules and information board. The NW Publisher app makes it easy, all in once place.
We love having this app available to us and thank the brothers who have worked hard to make this valuable tool available to us, and preparing and releasing updates regularly. We are very happy to be part of the NW Scheduler global family.
