As a former user of KHS (no disrespect-a fine program), I appreciate the ease of use of New World Scheduler and its app, NW Publisher. At a glance, I am able to see my upcoming assignments months ahead.
I am also able to keep track of current assignments through the yellow icon that appears when I have a part for that week. It’s easy to see when our FSG is responsible for cleaning the hall and for other assignments. Publishers can see who is leading the ministry for that day, afternoon, evening, and weekend.
I remember having pdfs and paper schedules inside of a loose leaf notebook-it was organized but not as easy as this- any changes are immediately available to all who keep their app updated.
All the organization I need without taking along extra books, calendars, etc. As an elder, this has helped me to be able to have more time for shepherding instead of spending it on organizing- let technology do what it does best while I look after the sheep.
