Other than the Maintenance option, we have successfully implemented the remaining features of NW Scheduler and NW Publisher. Like any new software application it took about three months to develop a work flow having transitioned from other schedulers. We ran the legacy schedulers side by side during the learning curve before going live. We made liberal use of the HELP and support website and on a couple of occasions made direct contact with support staff for clarification. I have found scheduling time has been reduced by 65-70%. It has never been easier to coordinate assignments, make schedule adjustments, and alert NW Publisher users to changes. Elders also benefit from all the information tracking features and reminders found in NW Scheduler. Preparing for Circuit Overseers visits is so much easier now. Printing documentation for the Kingdom Hall information board from one applications allows for one brother to care for it. With the ability for all elders and ministerial servants to have access to NW Scheduler it makes it so much easier to provide training and spread the load. Whereas before, only a few brothers had access to the previous schedulers because of the cumbersome nature for data sharing. Publishers appreciate having congregation activities and information available in one full featured application in the palm of their hand. Our NW Publisher app has an announcement that contains a link to the help website for users. This greatly reduced requests for assistance because of the clear direction found on the site. The friends love being able to submit “Away Time”, “Monthly Field Service Reports”, Request and Return Territory assignments with notes for the territory servant. All in all we really appreciate the well thought out methodology and structure of NW Scheduler. I take this opportunity to encourage others to consider this powerful theocratic activities organizer. Thank you to all the developers and support staff for this wonderful tool!
