After test driving JWS two years ago we made the switch and have had no regrets. There were multiple benefits, one of which was the companion app JWS Publisher. Publishers can submit their ministry reports directly without service group overseers needing to export a separate file to the congregation secretary, get reminders of upcoming assignments, get announcements, etc. Each subsequent update adds more functions you can actually use and not just ‘fluff’. Key reminders “My Tasks” such as quarterly audits and meeting with those baptized for a year are invaluable. Another plus is that one license covers everyone in the congregation that needs to use the desktop version. It’s a well thought out application.
